Alba's beach is one of many along the Abruzzo coastline. It has been awarded the European blue flag, is a safe family beach complete with life guards and is said to be one of the finest beaches of its area. The sea is clear and ideal for water sports (body boarding, windsurfing, water skiing, pedalos and sea canoes) some facilities are provided.
The beach runs for 3kms and is lined with 26 beach bars and restaurants which are child friendly (swings, slides and climbing frames) making it a great beach for the family. There is a promenade with a separate cycle path which enables you to walk or cycle to and from other local beaches safely at your own pace.
